Inter-Canyon Station Five

Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District Station Five, located at 10304 Georgia Circle, serves the Hilldale Pines area. Station five has one engine - 635. Engine 635: 1. Is a 4x4 urban interface engine - designed for fighting fire in the Wildland Urban Interface (WUI). Engine 635 can work as both a traditional structural firefighting engine and off-road as a wildfire engine. 2. Is equipped with an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and Basic Life Support (BLS) emergency medical equipment so our firefighters and EMS staff can initiate patient care prior to the arrival of an ICFR ambulance. Engine 635 and ICFR firefighters stand ready to respond to emergencies throughout Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District.

Red Flag Warning Sunday May 27

A Red Flag Warning has been issued for the Southern Front Range foothills, including Inter Canyon Fire Protection District until 8 pm Sunday May 27. Low humidity, high temperatures and increasing winds this afternoon create the potential for rapid growth of fire. Be careful with your weekend BBQ and other sources if ignition. ICFR firefighters stand ready to respond.

Red Flag Warning

A Red Flag Warning has been issued for the southern Front Range Foothills until 10 PM Saturday evening, including Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District. Please be extremely cautious with sources of combustion this holiday weekend.

In addition bicycle traffic is likely to be heavy in Deer Creek Canyon. Please share the road with your fellow bicyclists and motorists.

Fire destroyed a home at 9813 Elkhorn Street in Littleton, Colorado on Wednesday evening. The homeowner reports the fire started in the kitchen and spread rapidly through the house. The homeowner evacuated safely without injury. Firefighters arriving on scene within minutes found the home completely engulfed in fire. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
